Anyone knows how long it takes to get promoted from AM to M in IMDA? What is the lowest salary mark for Manager level?

Hay all I need help. Have been working for about 7 years now but I’m only earning $4.5k a month. Have been in an ad agency all my life that unfortunately didn’t pay very well but I still enjoyed what I did. I feel like I’m lagging behind all my peers. What should I do? Should I find a role in higher paying gov places instead? If to upskill, what courses have y’all taken and personally vouch is a good one to go for?

Contract staff can get contract renewal or good enough u can get emplaced to perm.
So not much diff except u sign 2 years contract first.
I'm talking direct contract staff within the govt
. Not agency contract.

May I ask if you’re a local uni grad? Do you mind sharing your profile as well (e.g years of experience too)?
