How is IRAS like? Thinking of applying there. Is it a Tier 1 SB? I heard it’s a very competitive place. Also, people join them as contract staff.

Not a problem. Maybe a little higher than you expect. Do let us know once you get the offer!
Did you just go for interview?

Yeah I'm actually guessing maybe $3.2-$3.5k because currently housing officers are kind of a high risk job (expected to wear full PPE) so there should be some sort of allowance. Yup I just went 2 days ago but will only hear again from them 3-4 weeks later.
My dilemma now is that I also got offered a traineeship position which is only $2.5k and no CPF, although the traineeship position is related to a industry which I'm keen. Whereby the housing officer job is actually just for me to get by 2021 and hopefully able to return back to the original industry I was in (not the same industry as the traineeship).

Hi there. Have any one heard or know of people that was given a verbal offer but did not manage to clear the approval process and thus did not get the role eventually? How often does this happen?
