Average pay in public sector is still better than average pay in private sector for local uni grads.

Well. An average average local grad in PS should hit about 120k p.a latest by 45 yr old.
As compare to an average person in private (say 15 months package), this person need to be earning 8k per month.

you judge for yourself if that is achievable. i only know based on MOM stats for all salaried workers, 120k p.a. is the top 20-30%

In my private sector MNC company it is possible to reach 160 to 170p.a. at early 30s. Just a normal support function and not sales.

Where did you hear the low pay from? It should be close to 4k now for fresh grads. But there's no good life - the Ministry is heavily involved in COVID-19 ops.

Guys currently i am mx12 with salary ceiling of $5900.

Assuming i cannot promote, till i retire at age of 62, my salary will be stuck at $5900 per mth?

Or will they still give a small increment of $50 etc to combat inflation?

I am still 32 this year and i tink my cep is MX12.

The cap is the cap. I had a colleague who was stuck at his mx cap for a few years. According to him there was no small $50 increment.

Hi guys,

Can anyone share more about a career at National Research Foundation?

There is also little info in Glassdoor.

Can share about the salary, bonuses for an Assistant Head/ Deputy Head? The workload?

Of course that is possible. The real question to ask is - how many actually can attain that? The average MNC worker is certainly not able to reach that in his early 30s.
