Wouldn't that depend on your "probation" contract? Mine was a contract for 1 year leading to permanent emplacement. Of late, some have been getting 2-year "probation" contracts before emplacement. So you gotta look at what yours is.

Hey, may I ask what was your starting salary? $400+ is a good raise!

I received an offer from a ministry for a manager role (mx12). I have 3 years of relevant Pte sector experience, however received a non honours degree from a top Aussie uni and served ns.

May I check what will be my furthest mx level I can reach, and will my cep be severely damaged due to my non honours degree. Additionally, will good performance or attaining a local masters degree increase my cep?

Excluding scholars and officers on talent programmes. Academic qualifications, experience and NS largely determine your commencing salary. Potential, progression and advancement thereafter depends on your job performance. Postgrad applies for your personal development or area of specialisation, and has no bearing on salary and potential.
