Everywhere the same
A you are too free until do so much 'CCA' plus do it so well. Actually it signals to your boss that you are very 'hungry'
B normal hardworking person aiming for promotion
C normal farmer looking forward to lunch and home.

It is definitely less than the old PAX system which is 5-10% more.
For new IPS scheme probably 3.5% at most to let you bridge to next salary barrier.
Grade only affect PB not increment.
Some unfortunately colleagues which I knew are still on IPS6 which is stuck at the 5800 salary.

omg.. this is so true..
Am so disappointed with the new IPS scheme..
Been getting consistently excellent grade and incr of ~7% yearly till i hit the ceiling of IPS5
this year's promotion i was expecting more than the usual but came 3% only !
Please advise if i should leave poly? was just promoted from IPS5 to IPS6 .. which means possibly i can get one more 7% incr and then the same stupid promotion to IPS7 ....
anyone had the same promotion incr that i am facing this year ?

Can i cross check if this is true?
One of my colleague was promoted too from (IPS) scheme. He was ranting to us that his promotion increment was only 3% as compared to his past yearly merit increment which range 5% to 7%.
any hr experts or seniors can advice by any chance would there be a one off upgrade for my colleague to match his previous increment? or is it just the economy doing not as well?
TIA

There are two possibilities:
(1) Your colleague is telling a lie.
(2) His salary was close to the ceiling in the IPS band. For such cases, the promotion increment will be low. His current estimated potential (cep) is low as he had to wait for his promotion till his salary was close to the ceiling.

LOL, very accurate representation of what C grade is, is C the lowest grade? i personally did an internship in a GLC and i feel everybody there is like C or worst, very rare to see people that even bother to wayang

made some clarification with him. Spot on. He was indeed at the ceiling of IPS5.
just curious. Is it even possible to push someone to the next IPS band when his salary has not reach the ceiling say $400 away? was wandering if he was promoted last year then maybe he could have avoid this poor adjustment?
i think his cep is quite good. he been telling us he is constantly getting the excellent band. That why he cannot take it this time when he got the same band but such sucky "promotion increment" while the rest of us are just good and very good haha ...
