If you work hard enough, after 5 years or so, reaching 3k should be possible, so dont give up. Jiayou.

Join 2007 - Annual Salary inclusive all bonus = 52k
Now 2021 after 14 years - Annual Salary inclusive all bonus = 90k (that is after 3 promotions inclusive)

Engineering is screwed.

This is brutal, my advise for traditional engineering fresh grads to join gov like me, or pivot to tech/finance
