The question you should ask yourself is not how much who pays but how good you really are? Are your grades in the top 10% of your cohorts? Are the stat bords interested enough to hire you? If not no point talk about what high pay or low pay is. If you are just average these days, you will not even get an interview or a job in the first place, let alone $3.2k.

The top 10% won't even consider govt agencies for that measly 4k. Most of them are already in banks, MNCs or tech companies.

And gov agencies certainly won't consider the average joes. So you got to ask yourself which category of grads do you fall under. Its grim if you are average. Its between getting $2.5k job with sme or be jobless.
