I am getting 3.2. Graduated with good honors. Don't think the effect of the pay hike from public sector hit us yet.

Hi able to share how is the engineer's increment like in your Organization? Because my agency hasn't effect the revision of Engineering profession salary yet. Not sure if it will ever be announced alr.

Recently got offered a 118K per annum package.. have about total of 4.5 years experience. Is this roughly the upper end for a technical role in the IT role? I'm wondering how much higher I would be able to go in the future if I do not progress into management..

try to get someone to refer you to get the interview. after that it depends on yourself (security clearance, interview etc.)

Please offer me your advice!!

Hi all, I'm currently serving NS and planning to study Mechanical/Chemical engineering at a local Uni. I didn't know that the engineering sector in Singapore was this bleak until I read this thread.

After reading much online about engineering in Singapore, I still feel that a personal experience is what I need to determine for myself if engineering is for me. I would really appreciate if anyone knows where I can find job shadowing/ internship opportunities for ME&CHE!!

Please advise me on which field of engineering is better (ME/CHE)! Thank you in advance!
