Architect Salary

Anyone knows the salary range of architects in Singapore. Is it worth studying so many yrs to become one?

Nope the salary is not as high as everyone thought so. $1800 - $2000 for fresh graduates (Honours holders) and $2200-$2700 for fresh Masters degree holders. I'm paid 2.6K (UK Masters). This is based on my little knowledge and does not stand true for the whole architecture industry.

It’s definitely worth the 7-10 years before becoming a chartered architect, the satisfaction seeing your work finally TOP is second to none.

Start off with $2,400, raised to $2,550 after five years? Are you serving any bond? Or are there any other incentives such as special bonus, performance profit sharing, commission, etc etc?

If none of those are in, I'd say it's time to move on to another company, pal...

I graduated with a master in architecture. worked in a small office and was paid $2500. after a year moved on to a bigger office and was paid $3000. 7mths after which i was given my confirmation, it was increased to $3400. I am not sure where it will go from here, but i heard that my senior architect who has 10years working experience is getting $7k a mth

it is very depressed to see your dip holder friend earn more than you do. Yes, 3 of my dip holder friends earn more than $3500. I think I am giving up the idea of getting a master in architecture.
