I’m offered a one year contract in the IT dept despite having almost two year of work experience. Im actually in a full time position with fantastic renumeration package at a startup. However, SIA had always been a dream company. Im someone who values a nurturing environment and having ownership to work. Any advise from anyone who worked there?

SIA is nowadays just a glorified company. You have a great attitude.....but you will go down the drain in SIA. If just care about relatively stable job, negotiate the best salary you can get and then just go with the flow and even be a deadwood - but don't think much about promotion or annual salary increment. Good luck!

The pay for Manager is not near 10k. If SM, more chance to hit 10k. The progression like what some said here is negligible except for some rare cases.

Hope this makes sense.
