mechanical engineering
Hi, I'm currently a post-a level student considering what courses to do in uni. I'm curious about what mechanical engineering is about, can anyone shed some light on what do mechanical engineers do? Do you need to be very good at drawing and designing certain products? Thanks.

no need. sorry to burst your bubble, but there aren't a lot of jobs for mech engr here. a close friend started in IT right after graduating. he's now a sales director in a big-name IT firm.

Is it ok to post your coy name please? If not, a hint like "page x of Recruit (27 Mar 10)" will also help a lot. Thanks for helping a fellow mech engineer.
