I would really think that it might be possible, but do you mind divulging a little more on the scope of work you engage in? Cause typical knowledge of the industry is that only the front sales are getting that, however, how many investment bankers are there compared to the rest of the industry or even workforce. So it is possible that such jobs ended up below the radar (but 300k! under the radar! my gosh!)

Those who say they earn less than $50K a year, hard luck life's not fair. Work hard, save, invest smart, things will turn out for the better. All the best.
Those who proclaim they earn more than half a million a year, WOW... prove it. Anybody can say they earn soo much but seriously, most who earn that much won't even bother coming on to this forum. Dumb peasants.

Thanks for the info, though I’m not sure if it’s against the company principles to provide these information in a public forum.
Honestly, I think it's unjustified for a HR manager, a supporting function, to be earning more than a manager in the core business.
Since you brought it up, it seems woman working in Singapore brags more than anywhere in the world. Perhaps they are more fortunate to be earning comparable to the guys or simply just uncompassionate compared with their counterparts from other regions.

Huh. Seriously? Women in Singapore can do well because Singapore is a country which promotes on merit. If you did not suffer from poor performance that leads to poor self-esteem, then you don't need to flame them, because you would be secure in your own capability.
