My car dealer friend tells me that

Feb-Apr COE qouta up 40%, Coe price drop 10k
May-Jul COE qouta will up 40%, Coe price will drop 10k
Aug-Oct COE qouta will up 40%, Coe proce drop 10k
Nov-Jan Coe qouta will up 20%, COe price drop 5k.
Feb 2016 onwards, coe hovers around 30k with small incemental increase in number of coes.

Many people who listened wrong advice and bought cars at ridiculuous high coe prices in past few months now come to this forum and spread fear to impending car-buyers. Dont be fooled

Yes,many wolves here, they have vested interest to keep COEs prices high. Any drop in COE prices means paper loss to them. They will feel pain when they see people buy coe at 30k while they pay 75k.
Gong ci fa cai!!

COE already drop 10k in Feb. I think COE would finally hover around 40k +/-. Don't think it can go much lower. Anyway this is pure speculation and we'll see what's available then.

You wait and see if garment will continue to release 40% additional quota, especially after the elections,

They will tighten the tap, just as quickly as they implement the petrol tax, Immediate effect, period,

It's not spread fear la. It's spread advise to people to stop waiting and just go ahead and buy before the government reduce the quota and close the tap. Prices will escalate when it happens later. Then people would have waited for nothing.

It is now or never. Many families already booked confirm COE given the recent low COE prices. Don't foolishly think prices will go to $50k. People all rushing to buy now because COE prices expected to go higher in the next bidding.
