I actually know the solution architect teams of 2 of the FAANG companies in Singapore.

I don't remember any 27yr old junior architect on the teams. Many of the architects on their team are not even Singaporeans. Many of them have their own area of specialization prior to joining the team.

Guess what is the role of their architects in Singapore?

Presales and consultancy - as one of their customers, I don't think I would trust a 27 yr old to pitch their solution to me.

Interesting. I'm actually not the youngest in my team. This might also be industry specific, where some require more senior architects. If you just do a google search you can actually find openings for fresh grads
