For a single person, you don’t need much to live humbly in Singapore assuming your hdb flat is paid up

Food $20 per day or $600 pm
Utilities, mobile and wifi $200 pm
Transport $100 pm
Miscellaneous $100 pm
Total $1000 pm

You don’t need millions to retire unless you’re eating at restaurants for every meal everyday. If you do this, you will die early. lol

i would factor in maybe another 300 - 500 for medical(Gp visit), healthcare product and dental cost.

Food just need $7 per day. Breakfast at home $2, lunch hawker food $3, dinner cook at home $2 = $7. $210 per month

Why cannot? Cai png ask for 2 veg 1 meat will hit around $3 at most foodcourts. Go hawker centre even cheaper, some you can even buy noodles for just $2.50. you stay in sg?
