i've been in the financial services industry for 13 years.
how much should i be earning? should i quit and move to other sectors?

In my view, you have simply mis phrased your question. The appropriate question to ask (especially in the banking sector where its not difficult to jump jobs) is "am I due for salary negotiation?".
To answer that you will need to advise your rank and your dept. If you are a VP in investment banking, you are definitely being ripped off. If you are a avp in the call center, you are getting a pretty rich deal.

im aware that banks tend to give inflated job titles but just out of curiousity, how much are the local banks (DBS/ UOB/ OCBC) paying for their M6 and AVP5 levels? Any clue?
