bro I bought resale HDB flat 8 years ago.
I had taken bank loan then and pay the monthly mortgage through cash and cpf.
Still some repayments left (I paid partial payments through cash and cpf when got bonus).

I want to know whether I can buy 1 more house (as single)? I don't want to sell HDB house. What are the options - condo ?

Loan options?

We havent reach the peak of car deregisteration cycle yet- coming soon in end 2015.
The number of coes will so plentiful that coe price is of 30k is the new normal. Govt already knows coe prices will drop like a stone, that why they supplement their tax revenues with new petrol duties..

The garment will keep the excess quota before we even have a chance to reach the peak cycle.

those who have been waiting and waiting for the COE to drop will be in for a rude shock. They will be amongst the 100,000 cars who are deregistering, but garment only release back 60,000, and keeping 40,000 for the famine years. This will cause panic buying again, and COE will rise back. That's my crystal ball says. I am not going to take risk to wait, and in fact, I have booked my new Altis for $99k. It will probably take a long time to reach back this pricing!

Haha that why I say 30k coe price is the new normal for 60,000 COE release.

If all of the 100k COE are released, the price of the COE will drop down to 10k only.
Those who bought cars in 2005-2006 paid for 10k COE prices when 100k number of COE flooded the market.

Good call. COE prices will likely to rebound back. Bonus season is coming soon. Better buy now when COE prices is temporarily low. The new normal for Cat A COE should be between $65k - $80k. You got your new car at a bargain!

yes, i am so glad to grab the Altis for $99k.

I heard from my Borneo SE that they have raised price yesterday.

Looks like COE will have a very strong support at $60k for Cat A, and will not fall for Y2015.

And I doubt they will let it decline as they will claw back the quota to keep for the lean years, as explained by one of our bro in the earlier posts.

The COE system need to collect funds for developing our roads and MRT system, so not likely that prices will fall further. Anyway we have too many cars on the road. It takes more than an hour to travel just a few kilometers during peak hours. This is one factor contributing to lower productivity. The number of COEs should be scaled back.
