Are you trying to stir up anti-FT sentiments?

If you are speaking the truth, what were you thinking? Not much of a common sense for a MD of a bank.

Wow! Your household income is high, much higher than the national average. And you are lucky to inherit a condo from your parents. You are one lucky fellow. Congrats!

You are a rich couple. Now is a good time for you to upgrade to a 5 room executive HDB flat. Pay off as much mortgage as possible. Then you can grow your savings for your retirement at age 78. This is the ideal retirement age. Also bear in mind, you may be retrenched when you reach your forties. Be prepared. What a load of rubbish!

The ordinary works hard for the money all their lives like up to age 78! And then spend all their earnings to take care of their failing health because of the long years of working hard.

The smart ones make their money work hard for them, and they can enjoy the fruits of their labour while they are still young and healthy.

Why not? Tax is included under spendings, (think here they should have used expense).

And the wife earning $65k pa with child relief, maid relief, parents relief, I think end up no need to pay tax. And the guy earning $60k pa, the tax should be lower than 1 month salary.
