When you earns like Guy B, girls will flock to you. Not possible to be Guy C unless he is a gay.

nothing to do with sexual orientation....it's all in the mind....whether one wants to enjoy short term or plan for long term.

Yes, some go for short term fun and in the long term get AIDs.

In Singapore, there are lots of guy C. From my own observations, especially among my relatives, friends and colleagues, they are all like guy C.

This behavior is quite typical of majority of Asians, they save a lot and invest their savings. I think sometimes what fails them is their investment choices. Those who invested well or are lucky are the ones splurging with their investment returns.

I think this thread really needs a moderator. I don't deny that there could be the case of suvivorship bias in this thread. But in my humble opinion, I can sense more troll post than actual post here.

I am 29 M,
90k PA, O&G engineer
no car (always think multiple times before deciding taking a cab), waiting for Hdb completion

I am in the phase of learning how to give rather than take. Sometimes I really admire christian a lot when I know some of them willing to give 10% (tithing / offering) of their income unconditionally. (Let's not argue whether the money goes to the right usage)

You earn a lot. I'm sure your wife earns at least $80k. So total $170k pa. That's a lot. Why don't you buy a condo, much more luxurious and higher class.

lol, I am not capable to buy a condo like other ppl in this thread, my opinion is house is for us to stay not to show off.

You can save and invest more money at younger age.
