49k is too low, you won't be able to live in Singapore. Many manual labourers make 49k, and with that kind of pay you'll be living their hard lives. If you are single, you should be asking for 90k, 150k if you are married, and 200+ if you have children. That is the minimum that one needs to live on.

Please come to Singapore, many Indian nationals are here, you just need to go to Singapore little India, and you will feel like it is India back home.
In Singapore, we are known as "Foreign Talent".
Many Indian nationals are holding managerial positions and are in the authority to hire, and naturally they will hire more Indian nationals. It is part of our DNA to help out our brotherhood.
Even Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean said Singapore needs to pay extra attention to facilitating the new immigrants who are ready to sink roots here, so that they integrate into society more quickly.

The company is obviously trying to fleece you.
With your qualifications, ask for at least 150k.
You cannot survive on 49k p.a. so don't take up that offer.

Hmmm, I thought those foreigners are willing to settle for less, so 49kpa is consider high. He should go for offer at 30kpa

The nobody will come, cos they can already make more in the big cities in India. Living expenses in India are also much lower.

Don't be silly. 30k/a is for Singaporeans. All FTs I know are earning more than 50k, with many earning 100k. My friend doing payroll for many companies confirms this.
