And you really believe what is posted here? This thread is for comic relief. You really believe so many people in mid and early 30s earning >100k?

Doctors and lawyers definitely reach 100k by mid 30s, so at least 1000 out of 15000 such professionals in singapore. And i have not included those in financial services, accounting firms, software provider and IT services providers, which are substantially higher and where such salaries at mid 30 is the norm. In my firm alone, at least 500 people in their 30s are getting above 100k.

Huh? My friend don't even have a diploma and he just pass 30 and is earning > 100k. He is NOT in sales BTW but in engineering related. There are lucrative jobs in certain industries and they don't advertise their job openings.

Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
If salary is not even touching 100k at the prime stage of career, then soon you will not afford a car or resale flat in Singapore, just read the paper, coe going up higher to hit 80k for <1600cc and resale flat just hit 950k.
Wake up. 100k is the new 50k. 100k is not the benchmark to have a lifestyle choice of condo and continental car. It is a benchmark of a typical middle class living in HDB in Sengkang and a japanese car.

Yes most graduate couples hit 200k combined before their mid-thirties. And they stay in HDB, drive small jap cars, go to neighbourhood malls and hawker centres.

Earn $7,500 as an intern?
By Kimberly Spykerman
Think office intern and the image of someone young who is poorly paid and does menial tasks comes to mind.
But that was not the case for Mr Y. Zhou, 27, who did a summer internship at an investment bank in Hong Kong in late 2010. He got a monthly stipend of about US$6,000 (S$7,500) - more than what some fulltime employees in other sectors earn here. The Singaporean was in his third year at an American university then.
