Earned very little this year. Only S$111k inclusive of bonus. Barely much savings with inflation and expenses esp since my hubby is unemployed now.

Fortunately we can pay off our mortgage and have assets to retire if I want to.

Food ($20 x 30) = $600
Utilities $150
Public transport $50
Medical insurance and fees $400
Groceries $400
Misc $400
Total $2000

This can be financed by CPF Life. So no need to have a million dollars in the bank to retire.
da fuq? $600 food a month and $400 groceries?

cannot be, unless ure eating some rubbish diet yolo caipeng low nutrient garbage food everyday, you will 100% face health problems in your 60s with that trashcan diet of urs

might wanna consider higher $$$ into groceries and less into food, cook ur own stuffs bro ure an adult right? wtf

He is 50 and in the IT industry. Been underemployed since marriage after he went into Sales. I guess he is not very good at Sales.

He tried Uber for 1 month and Grab for 1 month. Could earn S$8k then a month but he has back problems and was also banned by Grab. I think must be because of dispute with riders over fares.

He has first class honours in electrical engineering. I believe he will find it too demeaning. Being a Grabdriver was alteady a blow to his ego.
