The true high income earners probbaly won't be posting here.

They just keep quiet and enjoy life.

Whereas many of us are insecure and want the assurance that we are doing well.

According to the 2019/2020 IRAS annual income stats.
150k annual income is within the top 9.8% bracket of all tax paying residents in Singapore.
Annual income of 310k its top 3% bracket of all tax paying residents

The median (50 percentile) annual income of all tax paying residents in singapore is 43.2K

I use MoM statistics

s://stats.mom.gov.sg/Pages/Income-Summary-Table.aspx

Gross median income in Singapore in 2019-2020 is approx. 4.5k including the 17% CPF from employer.
So our gross monthly income excluding Employer cpf contribution should be about 3.9k per month.
3900x12 = 46.8k
Annual median income = 46.8k
Quite close to the IRAS statistics.

I retired in my 40s after a successful career in the corporate sector and doing well in my investments. I made a small fortune and hence able to quit the rat race. Nah not necessarily. When you beat the final boss of a game, sometimes it’s fun to go back to the tutorial village to show off.

It’s entirely possible that a top 1% earner is posting here to brag.

people replaying levels in game is because they enjoy the process or enjoy being OP.

please la, the top 1%ers have better things to do in life. if they wanted to, they could buy this forum and ban all of us for always spreading CSB

like the other poster said, most of us are here because we're salty poor af make less money or feel like we deserve to make more money so we try to compare and see whether we should job hop or not...

but then later we realize that most of the posts here are BS / CSB nonsense and instead we just troll and troll, talk nonsense all day. no different than EDMW alr

Lol... do you know how much is the top 1% making? Do you seriously think they will even be thinking of 'salary'?

The top 1% must be crying in their mansions because they cannot choose which colour of Koenigsegg to drive for today.

High flyers can retire early. No need to work so hard. They are rich enough to do what they want to do. No more bosses to report to.
