Generally I spend very little, but don't see myself quitting because I am used to having work occupy my time

I used to live in a terrace house. No big deal. In fact no privacy as strangers can knock on your door selling things. People walk pass your house can see what you’re doing instead. Cars passing by, noisy and you breathe polluted air. The real prestige is GCB, nothing less. Living in condo more prestigious than landed. You can enjoy the facilities and have better privacy and safety.

S$220k base is standard for bulge bracket IBs at 3+ years of experience (associate).
Half a year to 1 year of bonus = S$330-440k
