Call your manager to inform him/her. Matter of professional courtesy.
After that, send official email to manager and HR, stating your final date (which is based on your notice period), and wait for acknowledgement.
As simple as that.

35f here. in-house legal in a niche industry. starting salary 11 years ago was $2.8k per month. third job later, 300k base per annum, about 2 to 2.5 months annual bonus.
live in a small 2 bedder condo, save about 40% (excluding CPF), crap at investments of any kind, working on enjoying a bit more work life balance and spending a bit more on myself.

Trainee salary so low one ah? Genuinely asking not familiar with lawyer salaries.
