how much shall I expect for a vp role in a local bank?

Hi, I've recently had an offer for an AVP position at DBS for S$9.5k, 6.5 years working exp. While I'll have to forgo my bonus if I switch roles (current bank pays bonuses in June), just wanted to know if this number sounds about right?

Assume $9.5k is basic. How many months bonus are you expecting each year? That is good remuneration package for a 6.5years experience. Well done.

Should be alright, iirc DBS AVP max is ~15k so still plenty of room for future increase.

Yea, that's basic. Just expecting 2-3 months I guess, to be a bit conservative.

How is the work life over there? How are their annual increments and bonuses like? Any others able to comment?

It is really decent for 6.5 years of working exp to be honest.
DBS bonus is typically 2.5 months to 3.5 months for most (but not all) departments. Exceptional performance will get more than 3.5 months but that is rare.

Typically 6.5 years exp draws about 7k+ with 14-15 months annual package.

Seems that this year's bonuses are generally on the higher end and my expectations turned out rather conservative. Pro-rated bonus for the 8 months since joining was ~5.25 months, so was pleasantly surprised. Increment on the other hand was somewhat dismal at only 3.5%...

Would prefer to keep that vague, but it's a non-front office role.

DBS had a good year, you guys must have read the news by now. After checking my payout, went down to place the deposit for my new car on Sat. SE tells me they will try to expedite, with possibility of offering me Cat E COE immediately from their stock. This will allow me to take delivery right after CNY. Else, it will be end Feb.
