Nonsense... Gen Med doctors are Advanced IM trained. Depending on hospitals, some call their Gen Med department Gen Med, some called Advance IM.
General Practitioner =/= Gen Med - Usually only have MBBS
Gen Med/AIM have - MBBS, MRCP and have also exited from their residency programme

Are doctors on conditional registration supposingly not allowed to locum in GP practice? Also are doctors hired by MOHH not allowed to have their own business?

This is surprisingly true. Not sure why is there such a large representation from the IMG cohort in comparison to the locally trained doctors.

IMG are the chosen ones, their families are rich.

Speaking from a senior perspective, NUS hey days are long gone, and the Dukies are mostly subpar. The strength of Australia and UK med schools is reflected in their grads making it through the rigorous meritocratic selection for residency despite a lack of home ground advantage. Although I would say anecdotally Irish grads are still quite lousy, on par with the Dukies.
