Why go so early? Want to help on call team?
Usually 5am is more quiet time.
Some departments have meeting at 6am so maybe go a bit earlier 530am but not everyday. Take cab if need to.

hi anyone heard of exiting regs not getting an AC position? How common is this in the various medical/surgical specialties? What about in anaesthesia and ED?

I have not seen any reg not getting AC positions so far. However, what happens is that they still have to do reg work (e.g calls, rounds as reg in a team) despite being a "AC"

Are there too many doctors from India taking up consultant jobs from locals? Local doctors don't want the vacant consultant jobs? Some of them can't be understood by our elderly Singaporeans either.

Why are doctors from these countries coming to SG? Here I am working so hard to try to immigrate to those countries.

Why would you want to go to Canada? So cold. High taxes.
Why would you want to go to USA? Guns. Violence. School shootings.
Why would you want to go to Australia? Heat wave. Fires. Racism.
The only good one I can think of is to go to India.
