Guess it's perfect for people who are not ambitious
Not for life though. As you know AI is on the rise and may take over the planet soon together with all doctor jobs and they will start earning your wage and eating your food

I agree. But it is a global thing. Meaning no professions are spared. If we can create a strong AI, from drivers to lawyers to cooks to architects to doctors to artists to data scientists, all are screwed and we will need a global universal income.

Henceforth it doesnt matter whether you are an accountant or doctor or engineer or data scientist, a strong AI will do better.

Agreed. Medicine and all other professions are doomed anyway. No point speculating about the future. There is no future.

Questions for all GPs, how important is it to do family medicine residency to become a gp (private/public) in Singapore?

Have any local graduates on this forum broken their bond and moved to australia/new zealand to work? How did the process pan out?

Doesn't make sense. Coz u local grad you get full registration in Singapore. If you migrate you are left with sad rural posting.
Unless they love rural postings, they won't move to Aussie and nz.

Thank for reply . That’s a lot. Are you sure. You don’t mean 100 k per year ?

I am a mo in mohh. I already earn 85k a year if you include bonus and call pay. Surely interventionists in cardiology earn way way more than that.

If you are surgeon or procedurists (eg interventional cardiology/radiology), sky is the limit when it comes to pay

Hi all, looking through the forum, it appears that a lot of specialties are very saturated at the top and it is becoming increasingly harder to get a job/training spot.

Just wondering if that is the case for GPs as well? (Both private GPs and public i.e polyclinic GPs)

I am a mo who is getting increasingly disillusioned and wondering what should I do for the long term?
