SG is just more stressful from my 2 week experience at NUH. In uk, I was able to have lots of time in between ward rounds. Enough time for me to go outside for a walk or even to look at crypto or stocks. In SG, I hardly have time to look at my phone or text messages. Only during lunchtime.
I don’t regret studying in uk. I was able to invest in stocks and crypto while studying. Managed to turn my allowance from 50k to 150k in a year through sheer luck investing in Broadcom. Managed to buy 1 whole bitcoin as well while it’s under 50k

Sell investment course online and run a successful channel

This thread was really useful 2 years ago when I was a FM resident, used to visit quite frequently to read up about others thoughts/opinion on medical things. Not sure if it just me, but it's starting to become more irrelevant and detached from reality nowadays

Sorry but I chose medicine for the $$$ and prestige. If not for my family inheritance I won’t even put myself the pain of studying for this boring course

No choice la father is a retired hand surgeon and wants me to graduate with med degree
Cannot disappoint him otherwise he will give all his inheritance to my older brother who’s an eye doctor
The best way to be rich is to inherit wealth not create it.
I want to inherit 20 million + of assets!

fair enough. Do u need to do residency or no need? Maybe can convince ur eye surgeon brother give to u also he’s probably making more than enough. Maybe 20 mil become 30 mil. Unfortunately for normal folk like me i have to pave the way by being like ur father

Just need to graduate. I just want to work as locum GP. 12k salary a month to spend all for my expenses. Happy with life as long I don’t touch my principle assets

this is the stupidest thing i’ve heard. Just keep investing ur 20 mil with your automated algos and start ur own mini prop firm. U can easily grow this to 60-70 mil rather than sit in GP clinic and trade time for money
