Wah, hope u r not Dr Winslow.
No lah, cannot afford private psychiatric care, though last time was under private. My prev psychiatrist didn't charge me consult only a $50 admin fee.
Need govt subsidy, meds are expensive.

My condition is due to prolonged stress due to hubby's underemployment and a strong family history, I am lucky it hit me late and I caught it early.

Can try investing in US stock market. We make about $1500 every month just by buying and selling stocks like Nvidia the AI darling.

If u sinkie or pr can work anywhere in Singapore

OKOK...
Actually when I was under bond, I requested for no night duties towards the end and also to work reduced hrs and prolong the bond by half a year. I worked in polyclinic parttime and in outside GP clinic as a regular Dr parttime. They also close one eye and allow me. So I guess it is up to yr employer.

I was well then but I told my HOD I have a family history of mental illness and cannot be too stressed, he accepted the reason and let me be.

Buying even a condo is out of reach for the majority who remain as GP/FP, unless they get married and take up a loan with their spouse. Even then, it will take many years to service that loan

It is possible. I just bought a 2 bed condo for 1.5million as a single without parents help. In my mid 30s now (but only joined GP land 1 year ago), but need to save +++ once you start working, starting from your HO years to afford the down payment (around 400k cash+ cpf if you include stamp duty, lawyer fees etc)

I think you are lucky to be born in the right era in Singapore.
Nowadays if your monthly household income for couple is 7.5k, you will struggle even in daily expenses, let alone consider landed property.
Median household income nowadays is around 5.1k (so couple is 10.2k), even with that income, I think wil struggle with condo
