As the other poster said, higher need to work nights and weekends. And may lose job in a few years.
I have asked, can only get about S$15 k from other GP small groups which I may not be able to get HL and MC so readily.

I have gotten at least 3 mths of HL from RMG so far and claimed H and S of at least 12k.
Smaller GP groups which pay high salary would have fired me.

I didn't specialise like many of them so how to compare? Of course they are earning more than me. But we are financially free already and can retire though HHI only my low salary so I am content.

I have classmates who are CEOs and Professors and even a Permanent secretary and Parliament near Minister level earning more than 1 mil a year.
If I compare with them, of course I won't feel good but I know my limitations and I am content with what I have achieved in spite of my health and my hubby's job difficulties.

Also to share more, I have 2 serious medical conditions. One of which is breast cancer stage 1Cand my hubby has been underemployed since marriage 22 years ago, so I think I deserve a pat on the back that we still manage to achieve financial freedom by 50.

You pro U do all 7 days, can get 40k a month. See ur ortho friends U wouldn't feel inferior
Raffles has it's attraction
Stable. U wouldn't be jobless
Those small chains after a while will streamline and cull the non profitable one.
U decide lo.
18k but maybe lose job in 2 or 3 years.
15k but stable...and after a few years you will catch up anyway
|
9am to 9pm only 12 hrs.
4 days equal 48 hrs/week- 18k not bad leh.
But when you say after few years you will catch up, do you mean pay increment higher in big groups like raffles?

When did you last work in parkway shenton? How would you compare the 2 groups overall?

I worked in PS long ago in 2005 to 2009.
Experience in PS not good. Diificult to take MC and leave. In fact, when I was pregnant, I asked for MC cause of reduced fetal movement, supervisor asked if it is no FM ie IUD, must wait for baby to die before can get MC.
PS CA was terrible, toxic and unfriendly, gave me hell for a few years and mental stress.
No annual increment nor bonus in PS either.
So, RMG is much better overall.
