How much revenue can an aesthetic clinic make to pay the doctor 35k to 45k?
Rental alone is already 15k to 20k seeing how they usually open at central locations. And the laser + products aren't cheap
Sometimes some investors don't mind doing loss-making for a few years but there will be a time they can't take it anymore and need to jack up prices or reduce overhead...
So this is likely something short term...

really depends on the main target audience of the clinic. The more up market ones in paragon medical center targets mainly rich folks and mostly rich tai tais and the likes. There is also a large number of expats at these ones. The middle tier ones that u see inside malls target upper middle class and the middle class. The ones u see at HDB void decks target middle class individuals mainly.
Don't be fooled tho just because the clinic seems less up market or is in a worse location dosent mean they are making less. They just use different strategies and price differently to appeal to their target audience.

You shouldn’t have chose medicine in the first place if you were money motivated? Seriously, just switch to Law instead. I am making more money as a counsel in Singapore’s oldest Law firm, as part of the specialist medical disputes and litigation team.
They are paying me up to $1000 an hour, a sum that far outweighs whatever I was making in my locum days.
Professionally, I only know 3 other doctors who made the switch in Singapore, and that’s why I can capitalise on my expertise as a dual LLB-MBBS holder (ex-locum doctor, current practising litigator)

Didnt you also choose Medicine because you were money motivated in that case? I respect your career switch, you must be very good at what you do to be commanding such an income. I plan to own my own clinic in the future and scale it so i can maximise my income and reap tax benefits within an LLC. May I ask how you made the switch? I am curious.

Interesting. Did you do JD or LLB after your MBBS? does that mean you did 3 years of law school after med and then 1 year of bar exam to land a job after?
