thing is in aesthetics they dont pay bonuses usually...
so on paper you get more than your colleagues in public institutions, but in reality you get around the same because PHIs tend to give out bonuses

No these are literally entry level positions that are paying 17k. Once u gain experience and start seeing more patients, you can easily negotiate the salary higher. All the guys commenting about aesthetics have never actually worked in aesthetics before and just look at online postings. I myself have gone through the process and know how it is

He never said he’s in aesthetics and this isn’t representative of the average

hahaha that’s unfortunate. I was damn dedicated to staying in shape and looking as good as possible throughout med school so it’s left me in a good position

Usually if it sounds too good to be true... then it is...
How much revenue can an aesthetic clinic make to pay the doctor 35k to 45k?
Rental alone is already 15k to 20k seeing how they usually open at central locations. And the laser + products aren't cheap
Sometimes some investors don't mind doing loss-making for a few years but there will be a time they can't take it anymore and need to jack up prices or reduce overhead...
So this is likely something short term...

Agree, even liver surgeon can suffer from liver cancer
Dermatologist also can have psoriasis
Nobody is immune to anything just because he knows how to treat something.

I’ve been working in aesthetics for the last 5 years i’m sure I would know more about this than you. The clinics make huge revenue and need to keep the more experiences doctors around because they’ve established their own client base. I’m hoping to start my own clinic soon as well
