Can a locum tell the CA that patients must be distributed equally among the doctors?
|
Many reasons. Could be the CA like the other doctor so give less work. Or the patients prefer the other doctor so request to see that doctor so got more patients.
Either way no win.
If you are good doctor sure see more patients more work more headaches might end up burnt out the no more ability to work.
If you are bad doctor see less patients less work but other doctor will not be happy with you bad mouth you and then later end up no more work for you.
Both paths lead to ruin.

When I look back? Now if that same person came knocking on my door and offer me the residency... I also wouldn't do it hahahahaha

Hahaha can't deny it does happen though.
Not insane an effect... but if there are 4 spots and 1 spot gets taken up by nepo baby... it is a big effect to the person who would have otherwise got in.
If you're talking about residencies where they take in >20 people in a year then ok fine....
But those with less than 10...
Btw disclaimer :im talking about a fictional hospital in a fictional country called team buck two so if youre a nepo baby in the non fictional world don't come and sue me...

Sometimes it's just like unrequited love
Do you want to keep waiting for someone who doesn't love you
Or would you go out and look for the one who has been waiting for you all this time
And when you look back you realize how foolish you were and how you should have left sooner

How are you only making 200k? That’s literally less than even an AC and is around what a reg makes.

that means private land is not a bed of roses that many claim.
even aesthetics barely making slightly above 200k

some aesthetic clinics are paying around 16k only, with commissions maybe around 1k+
so total 17k
thing is in aesthetics they dont pay bonuses usually...
so on paper you get more than your colleagues in public institutions, but in reality you get around the same because PHIs tend to give out bonuses
