All MOs get clinical allowance regardless of specialty or whether they are in residency.

Some residents have to pay for training, can't remember the exact list (should be in MOHH handbook) but if I'm not wrong includes ophthalmology and paeds.

Some residents get training allowance, again can't remember the exact list and should be in MOHH handbook, but if I'm not wrong includes pathology, AIM and geris.

Do people think that home care will become more prominent over the next decade? (Is it more under FM or GM -i.e AIM)

Default Undecided on leaving

Current in year 1 residency as a pgy4.
Non procedure reaidency so salary won't be so high.
Thinking of going full time locum but concerned about longevity of this pathway.
Any advice for a lost junior?

The 3 Os la.
Ophthalmology, o&g and orthopedics.
Was 500 or 800 bucks
Can be waived if U sign form to serve public for 3 years after exit

Renal, geri and aim use to pay it's senior resident 900 extra per month because not very popular
Now no more liao.

See minmed founder lo.
He is a surgical trainee dropout.

Most of U just become a GP la. Or lifetime locum
Not bad, 100 bucks per hour for not a lot of stress and responsibility.
U chiong 300k a year for 10 years
Dun go buy expensive property
Later part of your life dun ask for too much should be quite ok

But seriously, can consider hospital clinician job.

He is probably one of the few gps that can out earn surgeons. But I believe the fact that he chose surgery in the first place, must be the ambitious kind la, not your typical FM profile.
