May I know what is the base salary one should expect as a resident physician under conditional registration? I'm not sure whether I should negotiate for more base salary.
If following SG standards, I am PGY4 already.

I was offered 7.5K before cpf/calls/weekend rounds as a full reg PGY4. I don’t think the registration type matters as much as your PGY year and your post grad qualifications tho. M sure public sector pay is fairly standard.

Does anyone knows the salary range of non-surgical specialist vs surgeons in PHIs?
Eg. Psychiatrist vs General Surgeon
For basic monthly salary or annum salary including bonus

resident/ resident physician graduating from germany
Hi all,
a bit of a different situation here, so I hope there can be someone who can help me out.
I'm Singaporean, graduated from medical school and worked in Germany as a cardio resident for 6 years. I'm currently in the equivalent of PGY7.
I'm thinking of returning to singapore soon with my wife and kid because of family reasons (parents getting old).
Should I be applying for a resident physician position or should I be applying for advance/senior placement in a cardio residency programme (is there likely no chance)? What kind of salary should I be expecting? my wife is in a similar position and I hope that with our combined income we can be in an ok financial position if we do decide to return to singapore.

highly suggest you and your wife complete your training and qualify as full fledged cardiologist in Germany before returning.
you are almost there already why not qualify first.

thanks for the suggestion, it is definitely a consideration. according to SAB we will have to work another 2 years after specialist training as a specialist. so that would be another 3 years in total.
and we are also not sure whether it will be accepted or not. the SAB only recognises 3 universities in Germany. We graduated from one of them, but the specialist training we did in another university hospital not in the 3. so we might invest another 3 years for them to say that they do not accept it.
due to family reasons, there is certain amount of pressure with regards to the timing. i do understand the red tape in order to protect the profession, but it is quite painful for foreign graduates to come back.
