That is true, that's why in Singapore we got a lot of Malaysian doctors
At least they are better than those countries that get fake certifications.

Can I ask in ops, does getting compliments mean anything? (In terms of appraisal for juniors- i.e mopex/residents/RP/maybe junior FPS)
I know you get too many complaints, bonus will be affected. Not sure if you get compliments, if bonus will be boosted.
Recently my head started congratulating people who received compliments on the group chat, based on feedback that clinic received from patients. Not sure if there is any significance in getting compliments or if you are one who don't get any..

Nhgp monthly got 1 compliments list
I have been on it during my stint there nearly ten years ago
I think it demonstrate the guy ability interact with patient, having eq, and potential to go pte
But sometimes compliment is also coz u see patient too slowly
Spending lots of time and the patient complimented you
Hence I wouldn't read too much into it

At the minimum, it gives u a self inflated
Sense of pride
Over the mbbs aesthetics
But monetary wise, at least for the
Foreseeable middle term
Unlikely to confer any advantage
So short term psychology yes
Long term monetary benefits maybe yes
But psychological well being is impt
So go for it
