Anyway, much better that they continue doing lasers and facials and stay away from actual patient care.

GP with aesthetic cert is it?

Just need full reg that’s it! I know some friends who broke bond after 2 years of MOPEX! Some clinic chains even help you pay for your bond severance!
Don’t expect much if you join with zero experience though. With 2-3 years of training and work experience, expect at least $25000-$30000 a month!

Aesthetics is the scummiest thing lol.
Similar to insurance agent selling ILP.
Or property agent.
At the end of the day, even your own family won’t respect you.

If you are not physically ugly, should consider mid career switch to aesthetics. I’ve made the switch and not looking back. Take home 25k/week. 9-5. 5.5 days/ week.
Best kept secret in medicine!

Considering the switch.
But I’m on the uglier side.
Anyone can show me some aesthetic Drs who rly look cmi yet open aesthetic clinic also?
Need some confidence before I can make the jump

Don’t worry.. just join an aesthetics chain first. Why think about running when you haven’t even learn how to walk???
Standard path is to join an aesthetics chain willing to take in zero experience hires… work there for 2-3 years and build up your skills. Then apply to be anchor aesthetic doctor at a large chain.. work there for another 2-3 years.
After 5-6 years in aesthetics industry, you should be confident of opening your own clinic

Lol no la. Most of those aunties are usually relatives of the GP. Why do you need a pharmacy degree? You are not prescribing medications independently. You are merely following the instructions of the doctor. Doctor write this, you just tell the patient to read the medication labels.

It takes AAA to read pharmacy course in NUS whereas a far less stringent grades to do nursing. Given the career prospect for the former I feel the course attracts too many med rejects.
