Without having to take time off fron work.
Go after work.
This will take sone pressure off A&E too.
MOH should order OPS to open till 10pm.
Lol.
Then there is almost no selling point to stay in ops liao if have to work evening
Last time got night polyclinic
It lived a short while becuase it was busy as f.
Everyone quitting left right center.
U think only need doctor ah
Ur nurse, allied health , pharm all needed.
They also got kids to look after, meals to cook, lives to live.

Can see some pple red eye ops.
Life in hospital is terrible isn't it?

I thought drs want to save the world at m2? LOL
But seriously. Medical is a need. And illness and suffering doesn't close shop at 5pm.
Busy as F because that's when people really want to see the dr.
Drs should be sacrificing. They made an oath to help people.
If local drs wont do the work, then bring in foreign doctors.
Locals can quit left right centre see how many jobs you have left for you in the pte sector.
Can work shift.
If the A&E and hospital can do it, so can OPS.
Clinics do it.
All you give are excuses and selfish thinking to have your life senang. Never think about the patients.
Health Minister should seriously look into this.

You really think Drs are altruistic? Lol. Always remember we are all working adults, and our primary duty is to earn money.

It's not about altruism. Pragmatism.
Opening OPS in evenings is a benefit to Singaporeans.
Lot of people work evenings. Many businesses and shops and medical clinics are also open in the evenings.
Why should OPS be any different?
Maybe OPS should open evenings. And then raise the pay for OPS drs with the additional hours they work.
After all many of these OPS drs go to the pte clinics to locum in the evenings anyway.
Like you said. it's all about money.
It will be interesting if OPS starts hiring locums for evening OPS. And offer $160/hr.

Offering 160/hr sound really good. Help to reduce the load in the day.
