Most local med sch 50% still benefit from the renumeration of medical education

Tldr if u damn talented, dont join med
If you average, can consider
If you lousy, tasmania is a good choice

I'm a junior specialist in a gov hospital and I've not heard anything about a pay revision yet... someone pls tell me some good news is on its way...

Actually medicine also got 500k pay. Specialize go private. GP also possible but must do niche work.

Might as well slog it out as an MO for 3-4 years and do aesthetics after you get full reg.

hmm fair enough but radiology is only 5 years, psych would have been 7 or 8 years and need ST3/4 re-application. I would be consultant by the time trying to slog it out and get full reg as MO. how much is your indemnity?
