I mean if you pass fellowship la. Coz fellowship is technically the examination for consultant level, just like mmed is examination for registrar level?
Just asking, coz it's like if you are gs/IM trainee, if pass exam is confirm will promote to consultant/senior consultant right?

Depends on estab.
If ur polyclinic no opening for con, fellowship won't able to make you a con too
For Im and gs, once you ac automatic two years become con.

Nope you are mistaken if you pass ( A BIG IF as passing rates keep going down) they must still decide to promote you. if not good luck to you
