NS is a scam and a waste of a precious two years which could have gone into publishing/PhDs and getting into a competitive residency.

MOH should compensate all male local doctors by increasing pay by $2000/month for the entirety of their career. Or our national income tax should decrease by 2% for NSmen to reflect the wasted two years accordingly. Actually even better if they abolish NS and channel the billions saved into healthcare or fighting covid.

Within the public sector, when the MOH bond duration is up, does the pay experience suddenly increase (in an attempt to retain staff who are no longer tied down by the bond)?

Haha it's not the drugs. He briefed me before the surgery and I was alr captivated.

Men aside, the feeling of being under anesthesia is quite fascinating. And perhaps something was injected into me before the mask was put over my face? That drug made me really happy haha haven't felt sth like that before.

The first thought I had when I woek up was that I should join healthcare. I think the job gives everyone a sense of responsibility and of being needed.

👍 positive review from a day surgery patient haha

No.
Don’t expect any fanfare at all.
No letter to congratulate you.

Just wondering do hospital administrator have more power than consultants in general?
Currently a baby mo in surgery, I always hear my consultant lament that they are frustrated/being bullied by hospital administrators, but they refuse to really elaborate on it..
