This is exactly how almost every first world country feels when individuals from developing countries move over there, leading to xenophobia. But in reality this is just part of globalization and mobility.
Singaporeans should be thankful that most of them are still able to afford a HDB flat due to government policies. I invite you to check out housing prices in larger cities in other countries such as Canada or Australia where the same cannot be said.

Check with mohh. My time was 444k prorated. So if u serve 2.5 years will be 222k.
Now i heard is 666k, prorate at 2.5years of service is 333k.
Unless u really hate public service, I will advise u to stay.
Example MO get 6k pay month
In pte go do 50hours week get 14k per month. Quite xiong. But u pay back mohh 8k per month so left with 6k, plus your tax is based on your 14k. (i.e about 1-2k tax per month) In the end is quite Luigi.

50hrs/week xiong? Mos/residents work 80-100hrs per week leh lol

I invite you to go to India to work and compete against Indian doctors, sir. Don't come back crying and in ARDS after you get COVID-19 Indian variant.

1 in every 4 doctors in the US is an immigrant, and 1 in every 7 doctors in the US is Indian. You don't hear the local doctors complaining about foreigners coming to steal their jobs.
The government's priority is providing high-quality care at affordable prices to all Singaporeans. I applaud the PAP for their excellent foresight.
The government does not have a duty to protect your jobs, nor provide you with one if there is a replacement that is just as capable. It is up to you to prove that you are worth your value.

I predict that within the next 20 years the majority ethnic group in Singapore will be Indians. Chineae will be the minority. But because Singapore is such a multiracial country with no racism it wont matter. All races will live harmony. However most top posts will go to Indians as they will be the majority ethnic group. This is normal in any harmonious multiracial country.

Like it or not, indian dominance is a matter of time.
The combined population of india , blangadesh , pakistan is 1.8billion
More than 1.4 billion chinese.
Singapore must accede to the winds of change.
Having indians for singapore top post is a positive development.
So many indian Dr , ceo in usa. Even the vice pres also indian.
For singapore to remain competitive, we must look forward next 50-100 years.
If we are able to attract indians as our senior politicians, means we attracted the best of the 1.8billion.

Agreed. These are highly skilled professionals, creme de la creme, of India. Look at the demographics of Mandarin Gardens and you will see the changing landscape. Perhaps it should now be renamed more aptly to Bombay Gardens.

Bombay reeks of british neo imperialism.
Mumbai is more appropriate.
But seriously we need to be race and nationality blind.
There are good docs regardless of race or nationaility.
