That's even lower than the taxes I paid when I was mo. For gp salary, even if one max out the 80k relief, (which is the max) I still think one has to pay 5 figure tax annually.

But max relief of 80k still applies even if you have 10 children.

Non procedure AC - 2024
but with a bunch of overtime work.
Without that would likely be in the 280-290k region IMO

That should be enough to convince people that FM has no future in sg salary wise. I think to hit that (354k/year) as FM, need to be at least C/SC. FM ac (mmed/fcfp) only 250k

My pay relatively low usually around S$120k to 150k a year when locuming. Cause I only work 30 plus hrs a week.
C reg pay only about S$104 k last year. This coming yr should be S$130k. Waiting for full reg when pay should be better.

I work reduced hrs with 2 to 4/5 afternoon off a mth, that's partly why pay low.

Don't say until like that lah. All doctors can enjoy early retirement easily. Just retire across the causeway. Malaysia is one of the best countries in the world for retirement. Can get GCB in Malaysia lor.

Anyway not all doctors r in the profession just for the money. At least I am not. Is more important to enjoy yr work and find meaning in it.
As a GP, I get to see patients from cradle to grave, the widest variety of cases. Is interesting to me.
