That's exactly what the Singaporeans, Hongkies and PRCs say too.

lol

No civility. Kiasu Kiasi. Free will take all and everything.

Not all cultures are like that.

What happens to the corporation after you retire?

Can it be inherited by your children?

Nowadays I also don’t know why so many people still want to be Doctors.
1. Almost 0% chance of specialise
2. Stay in hospital work like dog get paid like **** get treated like ****
3. Go outside same thing as 2, but with TPA and Private medical groups.

With the grades for medicine you can just get into dentistry or computer science and live a comfortable stress free life. Don’t need worry this worry that. Don’t need take this exam take that exam, see people get dragged into the hospital at 3am while ur on call with a severe trauma or internal bleeding.

It’s a matter of time before the general public realises that those that are sitting comfortably in Mount Elizabeth are from the stone ages and not representative of current day Doctors. It’s gonna be like China where no one in their right mind would want to get into medicine. Then good luck to NUS and NTU when start accepting international students into medical school.

It is closed when I retire.

I can route money into a Family Trust Fund for the children.

The inheritance plan is through the Family Trust Fund

Hi all, Currently a HO, interested in the medical field (hate surgery). Was wondering if IM or FM is a better option in this current climate?

I am not overly ambitious (mainly interested in clinical and patient contact and not exactly interested in doing extra admin work), I am kind of ok to do both (IM/FM) as long as there are jobs.

Any advice?

Do IM may get screwed by hosp admin. Do FM may get screwed by TPA.
Essentially both the same.

Long term wise IM con dont need work night shifts and weekends but GP needs
Both about same pay long term

How competitive is the cosmetic industry in SG (Injectables and Lasers etc.)?

Are lasers and injectables limited to physicians or can anyone open their own medispa and start injecting or performing laser procedures?

Physicians only for lasers and injectables. Singapore aesthetics not very developed.
South korea still the best.
