Anyone else feeling hopeless that we will never be able to afford living in a bungalow for the rest of our lives?
Thinking about how insane property prices have increased over the last 20 years makes me very upset.

Think positive. Why need bungalow? Live in Singapore land is scarce. But many good things. Safe. Cheap good food. Think of good things about Singapore.
If you want to live landed and cannot afford can migrate also. Malaysia. Thailand. Indonesia. But don't complain about the things they dont have that Singapore has. No perfect one lah.

Uncle, how many bungalows are in Singapore . 3000?
How many doctors are in Singapore? Easily 16,000
Plus u forget the lawyers, bankers, CEOs , entrepreneurs
So typical doctor is hdb one. Million dollar hdb or 1.2million condo can afford when you are mid 30 to late 40
But bungalows is impossible, unless your start up flies.

The kicker is now mohh employs ceca/ft "new citizens" doctors straight into AC/con roles, occupying such positions for decades and depriving many singapore-born doctors of the natural progression in specialist training we used to have in the past. So yes, life in medicine for a local dr is worse off than it was 10-20 years ago.
