Product Manager Salary
 

Hi there,

Just wanted to find out how salaries are like for a product manager profile like mine. Just so I can benchmark if I'm on the right track.

I have 8 years of experience in software product development related work, eg. business analysis, business/user requirements, market research, user testing, roadmap planning.

My progression was like this:

2008 to 2009 - Contract Product Analyst at MNC bank: 2200 + OT ~ $2800
2009 to 2010 - convert to perm: ~ $3000
2010 to 2011 - same role raise ~ $3210
2011 to 2012 - Quit and started own thing ~ $0
2012 to 2013 - Back to work at fund management project contractor: $3400
2013 to 2014 - Contractor at Tech MNC: $3900
2014 to 2015 - Perm Product Manager at eCommerce: $4800
2015 to 2015 - same role raise: $5100
2015 to 2016 - Product Manager at another eCommerce: $5500
2016 onwards - Senior Product Manager at another eCommerce: $8500

UOL external degree - 2nd Lower Hons (Grad 2009)
MsC Info Systems - NTU (Grad 2015)

Masters didn't really do anything salary wise, but I guess did raise my profile a bit.

2016 jump most likely due to finally getting a proper salary benchmarked to industry.

Just wanted to hear your opinions on this trajectory, can it be much better??

If its big mnc senior product manager should be able to reach 14-15k. If got regional/global portfolio can be 20-25k.
