Hi, how’s the consulting analyst program at Roland Berger like? Is it worth joining? Saw on the jd it’s 6 months so I assume it’s not a full time position and no confirmation on conversion?
Anyone knows the salary and prospects on this? Thanks in advance!

For MBBs, if you’ve been in any of the other consulting firms such as Accenture consulting, big 4 consulting, Roland Berger and so on, able to jump ship to MBB after a few years of experience? Or got to do MBA to have a better shot?

To join Roland Berger as a fresh grad, can we join as a consulting analyst straightaway? Or do everyone need to go through the 6 months consulting analyst program? Not too sure as I only saw the opening for the consulting analyst program.

Anyone in the consulting practice can provide an accurate answer to the different tiers in consulting? Sorry if it’s a dumb Qn but saw so many different sources with different tier 2 and tier 3…
Like is Accenture consulting tier 2 or tier 3? Cos most put it as tier 2 but there also a few who put it under tier 3 with the big 4… but isn’t Accenture paying way kore than big 4 consulting and the types of projects are quite big where a lot of govt and mncs as the clients compared to the big 4 mgmt consulting…

Curious Qn tho…
Why MBBs tend to hire majority who have MBA or masters students?

Why are some boutique consulting firms or smaller consulting firms under tier 2?

Accenture consulting is better than big 4 consulting (PwC, EY, Kpmg, Deloitte)?

Definitely. Just the pay itself is already a win over that of big 4. The type of projects today Accenture takes on tends to be government as well as MNCs. The number of projects that big 4 handles are way lesser as well yearly.
Normally people who can’t make it to Accenture or other better consulting firms, will end up going to big 4. Not saying that big 4 consulting is bad, but just these few factors is a obvious answer, no one will give up Accenture’s offer for big 4 offer.
