Actually they are ppl with second upper who got into MBB too. Or some who went on to further studies and eventually enter MBB.

Yea career is a long term thing, maybe you don’t get to the target at the start. But if you work your way towards it you will eventually reach it, probs just not as quick as the rest that’s all. And MBB isn’t the only best company out there and consulting may not be for everyone. There are many other companies and roles that are just as good as well. Just try to be open minded and explore different opportunities bah.

In fact, the hiring rounds are the same for those under strategy& that’s not deals stratefy.
So all I can say is that they expect high quality candidates by having same hiring process but yet pay lesser

I'm not sure about the hiring rounds but 2 different sides of the coin, for sure.
From deals perspective, they want the brand (even if they grossly cant match the pay).
From S& perspective, they feel brand is being diluted by colleagues who (quite frankly) don't even hold the strategy& namecard. Headhunters reach out to them for jobs of the wrong compensation structure.
To each his own

Fair enough. But why would they put strategy& in the jd and the email correspondence though 🤔

Maybe that’s how they get people to apply and eventually accept offers? Seems like a marketing strategy or branding by PwC.

Hi, anyone here did the Roland Berger Analytical Test before? It’s for their Consulting Analyst program.

Is RB consulting analyst program good? It’s a tier 2 right so I suppose pay and exit opportunities should be quite good? Got chance to go MBB after a few years of experience?

Since Roland Berger is also a tier 2 firm right, do analysts get to travel frequently as well?
